Being on the western edge of the time zone is really helping these early birds sleep in. Waking up after seven two days in a row really seems like a holiday!
It was 11:00 before we got around to breakfast today! Twice today, Edward had to say "Dont' worry about what time it is!"
Taking another one of the "easy" hikes turned out to be a good idea for both me & Maggie. We have not gotten our hiking legs & lungs back. The two mile hike around Pinnacle Lake was gorgeous. The leaves were beginning to turn & there were many vantage points to view the mountains behind the lake. I really enjoyed capturing reflections in the lake.
The plan was to rent a boat for the afternoon, but that never happened. Another afternoon lazing around. I managed to survive without a nap but just barely. Edward made a campfire tonight so we had our leftovers outside. A lovely way to end the day.
